First on AgencySpy: BBDO Elevates Troy Ruhanen to Deputy Chairman North America

BBDO North America has created a new position near the top of their structure and chosen Troy Ruhanen to fill it, sources confirm. Ruhanen, who until recently has been EVP, Managing Director and runs AT&T, will now serve the company as the first ever Deputy Chairman. He will continue to control that account, as far as we know.

We’re told Ruhanen was integral in bringing in EVP Director of Digital Strategy Chad Stoller, who recently moved over from Organic.

Ruhanen was inducted into the AAF Hall of Fame last year.

There isn’t much information about Ruhanen’s new role but as soon as it is made available we will bring it to you.
