Gawker, Gizmodo, Defamer, Jalopnik, Fleshbot, Kotaku, io9, Jezebel and Deadspin are Down

Gawker Media’s sites have been down or heavily lagging for users, various reports (and a quick hop to the site) have shown. A source close to the matter said the company is having “server problems”. Apparently the issues sprang up this weekend culminating to today’s apparent crash.

An e-mail to Gawker Media publisher Nick Denton was not returned.

Other sites include Gizmodo, Defamer, Jalopnik, Fleshbot, Kotaku, Deadspin, io9, Jezebel and Deadspin. Pay the bills, Mr. Denton!

Update: Everything seems to be working again, sorta.
