Hyundai Brings the Noise (Literally) at World Cup

You’d think with the size of this damned thing that we’d hear about it sooner, but nonetheless, Hyundai is celebrating its official World Cup sponsorship with this 144-foot vuvuzela that was unveiled as the soccer tourney kicked off. Despite the less-than-positive reaction to this instrument that produces the now-familiar, very annoying swarm-of-bees sound, the automaker and its collaborator, Cape Town-based Jupiter Drawing Room, keep blowing this fully functional beast at the start of every World Cup game. You have our condolences, Cape Town.
