Modernista Layoffs Following Hummer Crappiness

You may have heard that GM is considering dropping the Hummer brand following horrible sales of late. Obvi, this is attributed to high gas prices and the guaranteed need for a ton of gas just to get your coffee on Saturday mornings. More on that here.

Well on that note, we hear that Modernista, who has been doing a bit o’ work for the GM brand, has had some issues because GM/Hummer “is cutting back budgets big time.”

At least one creative director quit, and it was probably a good move, since no one is going to want to buy the brand &#151 and certainly wouldn’t take Modernista with it. So there’s that.
