Reader Questions: Which Hot Shop do You Most Want to Work For?

From time to time you send us questions about the industry, and since your colleagues know best we’ll leave it to them to answer. Today’s question came through the anonymous tips box, and reads as follows:

“Can you do a post to get everyone’s input on which hot shops are worth working for? It seems people just want to hate on Chiat and Crispin. How is Goodby and Weiden?”

Before we get to harping on this question, take a deep breath and look beyond the obvious. Chiat has been going through some changes, and Crispin’s increasingly in the ranters’ cross-hairs for one reason or another. Goodby and Wieden have certainly had their successes &#151 but these are all big shops (relatively speaking).

So rather than having the same argument about which of them is best let’s open the conversation to the small shops, too. After all, the scrappier the shop…
