This is the Cutest Football-Related Ad You’ll See All Year

The newly re-branded Philly-based Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners (who recently expanded with an L.A. office) are behind this super adorbs spot for The Big Ten Network’s BTN2Go mobile platform. Who knew tiny mascots could be so cute? Who knew that I could squeal like a teenage girl upon seeing mini-Bucky Badger? Oh man, I have a lot of self-reflection to do, huh?

For those wondering how BTN2Go works, here’s a write-up:

This multi-platform mobile extension gives fans the ability to watch the network streamed live from wherever they are. Available on desktops, smartphones and tablets, the app is free for any cable subscriber with BTN in their line-up. More than just a live simulcast of games, the app is customizable to set fan’s team preferences, highlights and stats.

But who cares, right? It’s just too cute. Holy shit, so cute. It’s just inspired Kiran to tell me he wants a pet. Bfljeabf! Credits after the jump.

There’s a Sentient, Glowing, Art-Loving Cube in Philadelphia

Is there anything more welcoming than a giant cube with a sense of humor? In order the generate hype for the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, a giant cube is serving as the official spokes-hexahedron for the event. What does a giant glowing cube have to do with the festival’s main theme, Paris 1910-1920? Nothing, other than the artists being showcased are definitely not squares! (Groan.)

Created by Philly-based indie agency Red Tettemer + Partners, the Cube made its official debut at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on March 1, where it made jokes about boy bands and being “turned on.” PIFA runs from April 7 to May 1, and the cube will stream live performances during the festival. Aside from the performances, the Cube-y the Cube will also show video for the festival’s partners and PIFA’s documentary series called The Journey, also created by the folks at RT+P.

Who knows? Maybe the cube will join the Liberty Bell and the Rocky statue among Philadelphia’s tourist attractions. Credits after the jump.

Red Tettemer Sticks with Stick and Move

With the Phillies getting kicked out of the playoffs, the Eagles in a QB quandary and, oh, who gives a shit about the Sixers, the City of Brotherly Love could use a little positive news. Well, at least the ad industry will do for now. Red Tettemer announced today that it’s acquired fellow Philly shop, Stick and Move, which you may remember from a Facebook freebie not so long ago or our own Boutique Call (someone needs to dust that off) from 2008.

As a result of the acquisition, the founders of the five-year-old Stick and Move–CP+B ex-pats Steve O’Connell (specs-sporting guy, top right) and Jared Scott (suit on couch)–will serve as partners and ECD and SVP, accounts, respectively. In addition, Red Tettemer will undergo a drastic name change to Red Tettemer + Partners while Carla Mote (seated as well) has been promoted from EVP, executive director to managing partner and will work closely with Scott on account management and new business activity.
