-The Cannes Lions folks have released their first 2014 juries in the Titanium & Integrated, Press, Outdoor, Radio and Film Craft categories. link

-Ogilvy has launched a new campaign for Philips LED lighting, which it boasts as “the 2nd ultimate light source” (above).

-WPP/GroupM unit MediaCom has retained its Brand USA biz after a “rigorous competitive review.” MediaCom has been working with the¬†public-private partnership that promotes travel to the U.S. since 2011.

-New York-based Zeta Interactive has appointed its first-ever chief information office in GSI Commerce alum, Dr. Jeffry Nimeroff.

-El Segundo, CA-based David&Goliath has welcomed Matt Sherman as ACD and Jamie Simms as account director. Sherman, who served in a similar role at Mullen LA prior to joining D&G, will work on Kia while Simms, a former Grey NY account director on Diageo brands, will oversee client initiatives for Universal Studios Hollywood, New York-New York Hotel & Casino and Brooklyn Gin in her new role.

Bill Hader Goes Spelunking in the New VW Jetta

It would seem, from this three-minute long discussion of the new Volkswagen Jetta, that the car has a pretty spacious interior. Sure, it does other things, but that interior? It’s so spacious that comedic actor and Saturday Night Live cast member Bill Hader has to get caving gear to explore it. Of course, if there’s anything we’ve learned from the movies (seriously, watch that clip), we know that a spacious Jetta can fit awesome state-of-the-art street racing components.
