Sam Walsh has joined El Segundo, CA-based Saatchi & Saatchi unit, Team One, as executive producer and will primarily focus on the Lexus account.
It’s a reunion of sorts for Walsh and Publicis Groupe (parent of Saatchi, of course) as the 20-year industry vet had two tours of duty as SVP, director of broadcast production at Publicis & Hal Riney (1995-99, 2003-06). After leaving Riney for the second time, Walsh moved on to JWT NY then eventually WPP/Team Detroit, during which time he served as EP of integrated content and produced the Ford “Bold Moves” online documentary series. For the last two years, he’s ran the ship at his own consultancy, Signal Management, which counted clients including JWT NY, Ford, Coca-Cola and ESPN.
Now at Team One, Walsh will oversee filmed content, ranging from TV to digital to emerging platforms according to the agency.
