The Don’ts of Advertising

After reading SuperSpy’s “DON’Ts” posts (here and here) on the subjects of being a female and being black, we took some time to ponder the daily life of being a white dude (which we are).

It’s our assertion that things are pretty sexism/racism free for the average white dude (this is a total assumption based on our personal lives), so it’s hard to come up with a list of “DONT’s” that doesn’t sound completely racist/sexist.

In fact, after conferring with fellow white dudes, it became clear that such a list is (probably) impossible to create. Give it a shot, you’ll see what we mean. So we thought we’d open it up to you to write some DON’Ts. This is for anyone &#151 guys, gals, inbetweenies, and anyone of any race, creed, religion, bla bla bla all that yazz. Tell us what pisses you off about the ad-world, down there in the comments section. Chow!
