United Airlines’ Favorite Customer to Release Follow-Up Tune

Canadian musician Dave Carroll continues to be a country-tinged thorn in United Airlines’ side. Mere weeks after penning his catchy “United Breaks Guitars” tune after baggage handlers at the airline did just that, then receiving 3.8 million views of the video, drawing thousands of supportive comments and maybe helping drop United’s share price by 10%, Brand Republic reports that the Canuck is ready to drop his second related opus.

This time, his words and melodies will be targeted at United employee Ms Irlweg, the lady who turned down Carroll’s request for compensation at Chicago O’Hare Airport last year. The musician, who says his new ditty will be constructive, has parlayed the sympathy he’s received into a $3,000 donation to a music charity that wants his video to be used for training baggage handlers.

Now if only proud UPS adman Andy Azula had put his Delta frustrations to song versus a whiny, epic blog post, he might’ve drawn the same amount of compassion as Carroll.
