Wray Ward Retains Sunbrella Biz
We’ve been told it was a duel between North Carolina shops, and in the end, it was Charlotte-based Wray Ward that came out on top in this one. From what we hear, said agency, which last we heard parted ways with its co-owner several months ago, beat out Mullen’s Winston-Salem office in the pitch for its longtime client, Sunbrella.
Hal Hunnicutt, VP of marketing for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, the makers of the 50-year-old Sunbrella brand, sent us this statement: “We felt it important to look at the industry and ensure we were doing the very best possible for our Sunbrella brand. After a thorough review process and talking with several agencies, we have renewed our contract with Wray Ward and look forward to a continued partnership through which we will build our brand.”
If you still have no idea what Sunbrella is, check out the video below.
