Writer Hoped Nudity Stunt Would Sell Books; It Didn’t

David Seaman wrote a probably-already-moot book called “Dirty Little Secrets of Buzz” and then declared to the world that if his tome didn’t reach the Amazon.com Top 100 list he’d run naked through Times Square.

Well it didn’t reach that high peak, nor did a skinny-bespectacled Seaman bare all in Times Square. Wa waa. Said Seaman in an interview with CNBC’s Funny Business,

“I got an email from my editor asking that I not do anything that would result in an arrest. And as more people in the media demanded that I get on with the crazy stunt at Times Sq, the less I felt inclined to do it (tell me to do something and I won’t).”

Apparently he did send the Funny Business people a photo of himself poolside in Florida, nakey.

You’re all dying to know how well his book did well enough to put him in the top 60,000.
