Wow, was it something we said? We tried, tried and tried again to contact the Deutsch New York camp about this yesterday after getting multiple tips, but didn’t hear back at all, which is rare coming from them. Well, guess we now know where we stand. Anyhow, while we rue not just going with our instincts and posting a We Hear item, might as well tell you that it’s now official that Michael Goldberg has joined up with Deutsch NY as partner/chief marketing officer.

While Goldberg has dabbled in PR for the  the last nine months as senior partner/global CMO at Porter Novelli, you might best remember him from his days at Zimmerman, where he spent nearly nine years and last served as EVP/CMO. Before leaving last October, Goldberg gave us one of his greatest moments when sharing his thoughts on the Captain D’s account.
