Sesame Street has expanded the distribution of its apps and made them available in Amazon’s App Store. The first apps available include: Elmo Loves 123s, Another Monster at the End of This Book and Potty Time with Elmo. These apps are currently available for $.99. In addition, Sesame Workshop is offering Sesame Street for Military Families and Sesame Street: Divorce for free in Amazon’s App Store.
This is not the first time that the iconic children’s brand has worked with Amazon. Last year, Amazon introduced a digital content subscription service aimed at kids called Kindle FreeTime Unlimited, which includes access to Sesame Street content. Sesame Street content is also available through Amazon’s competitors. As part of the app partnership, Another Monster at the End of This Book and Potty Time with Elmo are now available through this service.
Sesame Street will continue to add new apps to Amazon’s App Store. In the coming months, the publisher has plans to release The Great Cookie Thief and Elmo Loves ABCs.
Sesame Street also sells its apps in Barnes & Noble’s Nook store, Apple’s iTunes and through Google Play.
