Pool Report: Gary Bass' Book PartyFrom Mike Allen's Playbook: POOL REPORT: Susan Glasser, Peter Baker and Nurith Aizenman celebrated the publication of "Freedom's Battle: The Origin of Humanitarian Interventions," by their friend Gary J. Bass, a former reporter for The Economist who is now an associate professor of politics and international affairs at Princeton University. HOW TO SELL BOOKS (FOR ACTUAL CASH MONEY) TO THE LIKES OF JANE MAYER, JULIET EILPERIN, ALAN COOPERMAN AND PETER CANELLOS: Susan and Peter's adorable 3 1/2 year-old, Theo, complete with blinking kicks, greeted each arrivee and demanded $25. He got it. He was very task-oriented, and we had trouble explaining to him that it was OK for folks to buy more than one.
