What's the name of your cell phone ring? I am a nerd, I have the standard ring.

What time did you get up this morning? Around 5 am.

When did you last cry and why? I have cried everyday since May 31, 2007, the day my mother died.

How many emails do you receive a day, roughly? About 200, mostly political.

What's your favorite letter? A, for obvious reasons.

What single person played the biggest role / had the biggest influence on your journalism career? One of my teachers at Morgan State University, Dr. Gilbert Maddox. He would always tell the students how competitive the business was.

When's the last time you volunteered? Where? In recent months I had not time to volunteer as I was taking care of aging and sick parents.

Who is your favorite active journalist? Most of The daily White House hard pass holders in the Press corps are dynamic. We perform the task of getting answers from an evasive and not always truthful White House.

What did you have for breakfast? A chicken and apple sausage sandwich.

What one toiletry item could you not live without? Toothpaste.

If you could have one superpower, which one would it be? Flying at the speed of light so I could make events on time and miss the traffic tie ups.

Red or white wine? I have an old school opinion. It depends on what meat is being served.

PG-13 or R? The politically correct answer is PG-13. But, realistically "R" is what I am watching from reality shows on cable to movies at the theatre.

Lincoln, Jefferson or Washington Memorial? The Jefferson Memorial is beautiful standing next to the waters edge. But, the Lincoln Memorial was the site of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s. I have a Dream Speech.

Leg or breast (chicken, of course)? The leg is juicier and tastier if prepared properly.

Friday night or Saturday night? Friday night -- gives me more time for the weekend

"Wedding Crashers" or "Old School"? "Super Ex-Girlfriend", great laughs.

The Palm or Cafe Milano? The Oval Room with sources too clandestine to name.

Yankees or Red Sox? Orioles!

Jenna or Barbara? Jenna, girls just want to have fun.

McSteamy or McDreamy? Denzel still rules.

Leno or Letterman? I knock out way before both shows. But if I were up I would flip channels between both.

Stewart or Colbert? Colbert! He has spoofed me on occasion

Boxers or briefs? Boxers, comfort is essential.
