This marks 'Nightline's' eighteenth victory (plus one tie) over 'Letterman' among the key A25-54 demographic this season and the thirteenth victory (plus two ties) over CBS among Total Viewers."

  • An ABC release announced, "As 'The View' celebrates its 12th season on the air, and ABC News heads out across the country with its '50 States and 50 Days' initiative, the co-hosts of 'The View' are teaming up with ABC News to bring daytime viewers a piece of '50 States in 50 Days.' Beginning Monday, September 15, 'Good Morning America' will bring questions and concerns from local residents around the country to 'The View' where they will air the questions and comments as part of the daytime talk show's regular chat feature entitled 'Hot Topics.'"

  • An ABC release announced, "According to Nielsen Media Research for Sunday, September 7, 2008, ABC News' 'This Week with George Stephanopoulos' outperformed CBS' 'Face the Nation' among Total Viewers and the key Adults 25-54 demographic. This is the 32nd time this season 'This Week' beat 'Face' among Total Viewers. It also marks the 22nd time (plus three ties) 'This Week' has placed second among Adults 25-54. Additionally, 'This Week' continues to grow among both Total Viewers and the key Adults 25-54 demographic."

  • TPM reports, "Groping toward the truth but still utterly delusional. MSNBC's Chris Matthews has been doing a pretty decent job being candid and straight-up about the sleazy campaign the McCain camp is running.
