0921 029.JPG

Good morning Washington.

Got a blind item, interesting link, funny note, comment, birthday, anniversary or anything of the sort for Morning Reading List? Drop us a line or let us know in the tips box below.

We've got your morning mix of media Muesli after the jump...

40 years ago, "60 Minutes" debuted. 17 years ago, Nirvana's "Nevermind" came out. Joseph Kennedy II is 56. None of you got our photo from yesterday (psst: It was Ralph's). Today is the birthday of Ericka Andersen, Moe Tkacik and Erica Klein. Tomorrow: Amber Pfau, Brian Beutler, Angela Valdez. Most of you have not adjusted your finances/investments/savings in the past two weeks. Tuesday was the birthday of Maura O'Brien.
Check out today's White House Photo of the Day from Time. Today's "Angry Journalist" rant of the day: "My editors should take responsbility and quit whining when they don’t get their way, because they have no idea how hard it is now and give no direction."

Today's FishbowlDC comment of the day (with regards to yesterday's post on "Roll Call Putting Out Special Friday Issue": Reader CaptObvi writes, "'This special Friday edition will be a must-buy for anyone following and influencing Congress,'...i call BS! It's another boring issue of the boring and pathetic paper that it is." Keep the FishbowlDC discussion going by dropping your comments here.
