David Von Drehle's Got Style
The Washington Post will soon make an all-newsroom announcement that David Von Drehle, a former National reporter and former Style AME who is now a staff writer for The Washington Post Magazine, will become the Style section's new political reporter (replacing Mark Leibovich, whose shoes were temporarily being filled by Libby Copeland). Initial reaction? People are thrilled. DVD's well respected around the newsroom as one of their top writers.

Why didn't anybody see this coming?
