Some TV network changes afoot:

• Alex Wellen is joining the internet team at "The Situation Room" in Washington D.C. as "Senior Internet Producer." Wellen, who used to co-host "CyberCrime" for TechTV, authored the memoir "Barman: Ping Pong, Pathos and Passing the Bar." Given the James Frey memoir pathos around right now, anyone want to guess how long it'll take bloggers to start tearing apart his recollections?

• BCBeat reports that the de facto head of Nightline in Washington, Bob Golombik is leaving. Golombik, technically AD (associate director), has been managing the day-to-day operations since the "D" George Murphy left last May.

• Across Connecticut Avenue on M Street, today is Jen Hoar's first day working at CBSNews.com as a writer/producer. She was a senior writer at the Hotline, and one of the authors of the witty Wake-Up Call! daily email.

And one print move: Eric Pfeiffer, formerly of National Review (and he even some time spent at as a Wonkette substitute), has been hired by the Washington Times as their national, general assignment political reporter.
