A ‘Lab Day’ Luncheon on Capitol Hill, Stars Included

Sager-2272.jpg What would the White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend be without stars? Lucky for political types, these same stars are also forced into do-gooder activities like this one for Lab Day at the Capitol Visitors Center on Capitol Hill earlier today. The stars were part of a group dispatched by the Creative Coalition.

They included: Tim Daly, Dana Delany, Morley Safer, Omar Epps, Cheryl Hines, Marlon Wayans, Wendie Malick, Barry Levinson, Richard Schiff, and Steven Weber, who were all on hand to talk about the importance of arts education and how that relates to students enjoying science and math (subjects that kids generally, of course, hate).

We hear that HBO “Entourage” star Adrian Grenier could not have possibly looked more bored. Someone described it to FishbowlDC saying, “ADD kids in Geometry class without bathroom breaks look less bored.”

In the photograph, Delany (“China Beach”, “Desperate Housewives”)chats up some guests. (Photography courtesy of Randy Sager Photography Inc.)
