Biden Help Saves “Face”

“Face the Nation” broke a four-week losing streak on Sunday, as a news-making interview with Joe Biden edged Bob Schieffer past ABC’s “This Week.”

With “Meet the Press” leading the pack as usual (3.0/9), “Face” scored a 2.1/6 and ABC a 2.0/6. Fox pulled a 1.3/4.

Locally, in D.C., “Fox News Sunday” and “This Week” tied with a respectable 1.6/5 (nearly double their ratings of the previous week)–although if you look at those numbers historically, Fox is up 14% from last year and ABC is down 19% from a year ago.

Digging a little deeper, last place Fox has been posting some impressive numbers across the board–last week, we noted that they tied or beat “Face” in nearly half the top 15 markets. This week Chris Wallace tied or beat both ABC and “Face” in four of the top 15 markets.
