BREAKING: Mike Allen Switches Recorders!
We knew about this yesterday, but considered it so important that we wanted to save it until today when you might be 10% less focused on the midterms.
Time’s Mike Allen is adored for many reasons. One of those reasons is the prehistoric, enormous tape recorder that he uses.
But something stuck out at us from yesterday’s NYT front page:
Allen’s got a new recorder!!!! (It’s still big by 21st century recording devices standards, granted…)
Allen tells FishbowlDC that his old Radio Shack recorder could very well be donated to the Smithsonian, and that the new one is a fancy-sounding Radio Shack CTR-122.
Now he’s really gonna kick some journalistic ass…
