Compton Says “All’s Good” With WHCA Dinner and Jewish Attendees
Today’s Washington Post reports that (and we linked to it earlier) “some Jewish members are irked” that this year’s WHCA dinner “happens to be the last evening of the seven-night Passover observance.”
WHCA president Ann Compton writes in to FishbowlDC:
I have not one single complaint from any member of the association or any member of the board. When I heard the conflict was raised by a Washington reporter I immediately asked the three Jewish members of the board and was assured they knew of this.
