CQ-Roll Call Hires Two Politics Reporters

An internal memo from Scott Montgomery, Director of Consumer Publishing for CQ-Roll Call Group, reveals two new hires for CQ-Roll Call Politics.

The memo reads:

We are thrilled to announce two terrific additions to the CQ-Roll Call politics team.

Steve Peoples will be joining us from the Providence Journal in Rhode Island. Steve is an exceptional government and politics reporter who has proven himself equally adept at source-building and database journalism. Steve knows how to break news, and weÂ’re excited to have him join the politics reporting team as we close in on the mid-term elections. HeÂ’s relocating from Providence and will be with us before monthÂ’s end.

Tricia Miller came to Roll Call two years ago with a single goal in mind. She wanted to be a politics reporter. Tricia had worked as an embed on the John Edwards presidential campaign for NBC and National Journal and before that she was a contributor to the Almanac of American Politics. Now at Roll Call, we’re looking forward to putting TriciaÂ’s natural enthusiasm and commitment to work for the section.

Please join us in welcoming these new members to the team.
