D.C. Blogger Gets Botoxed But Avoids Full-on Heidi Montag

heidi_montag_people_plastic_surgery.jpg Elizabeth Thorp, a D.C. correspondent for Momlogic.com and public relations rep, is no longer a Botox virgin.

She was convinced to get needled after a series of incidents – many involving being compared to twentysomethings – that mortified and prompted action. “Dude your mom is hot!” she heard one night while out dancing with 24-year-old Mix 107.3 FM’s DJ Tommy McFly.

Thorp explains what Botox does as opposed to fillers like Restylane and Juvaderm. She also talks cost – Botox can run you $400 to $2000 depending on “how many units are used.”

All in all, Thorp writes, having Botox was worth it. “I’m saving up!” she says in anticipation of her next treatment that may involve other kinds of treatments.

Find out the ins and outs of getting Botoxed here.
