Examiner Gets All Up In WaPo’s Kitchen

Across the street from the Washington Post is not only the Washington Examiner, but the Post Pub, a watering hole that doesn’t have an official relationship with the Post, but that does have a.) a close proximity to the paper b.) a sign using the same font as the Washington Post’s logo and c.) the name.

Well, we had to do a double take when we saw this: A plaque in the Post Pub dedicated to reporters from…the Washington Examiner.

“It’s better than the Pulitzer,” Examiner reporter Bill Myers tells us. “I’ve been off the sauce a while, but I make sure that I get a weekly bison burger and now I’ll have to make it twice a week.”
