Back in the day, DC TV personalities were allowed to have “personalities”. And they weren’t afraid to ham it up for Eyewitness News Team promos. 25 years before Ron Burgundy, the late Glenn Brenner, Gordon Barnes and Gordon Peterson , along with Sonny Jurgenson and Frank Herzog hammed it up for this classic WDVM (now WUSA) promo spot.
