Former T.V. Cook Joins Examiner
The Examiner today announced former NYT/USA Today/ABCer Karen DeWitt as the editor of the paper’s Washington edition.
Most recently DeWitt’s been the spokesperson for D.C.’s Water and Sewer Authority, but her media background is rich and varied–including bylines at the NYT’s D.C. bureau, USA Today, the Beirut Star, and National Journal, as well as a 1997 stint as a senior producer at Nightline. Before that her experience in television consisted of two seasons in the early 1980s as the host of cooking show “Karen’s Kitchen” on D.C. Public Television.
And here we thought we were alone in thinking the Examiner’s tabloid layout looked good enough to eat…
