From an internal announcement:

The United States Secret Service has advised us that the streets around the Capitol Hilton hotel located at 16th St. & L St. NW, will be closed on Tuesday September 5th beginning around 10:30 AM until approximately 3:00 PM. 16th Street between L Street & K Street, and L Street between 16th & 15th Streets will be closed to all vehicle traffic. Pedestrian traffic on those same streets will also be restricted during the arrival and departure of the VIP speaking at the hotel. When pedestrian traffic is halted, the L Street entrance/exit will also be temporarily closed. Employees are advised to take these closings into account as they plan their arrival or departure from the building.
