Gridiron Meets the FCC

A footnote to Saturday’s Gridiron dinner? Sources say a very funny skit involving a reporter dressed as Jeff Gannon, complete with leather and a chain, got cut at the last moment. While the skit appeared in rehearsal, it mysteriously never made it on stage during the real thing. Evidently something about “bad taste.,” yadda, yadda, yadda.

Perhaps everyone was afraid Michael Powell would show up….
