Helen Thomas on Daily Show

It wasn’t nearly as exciting as Chris Matthews and Stephen Colbert, but Jon Stewart had Helen Thomas on his show last night and led to one interesting exchange:

    Stewart: Have you ever been disappointed in your — I don’t want to say, your colleagues because I don’t want you to get beaten up in the cafeteria…Which, by the way, if anyone comes after your lunch money, let me know and I’ll come down there and knock ‘em down.

    Thomas: We just have a machine.

    Stewart: Really?

    Thomas: Reporters have no access to any kind of cafeteria or anything like that.

    Stewart: You want to know what I’m doing? Six foot hoagie. I’m bringing a six foot hoagie. What you want in there?
