…What’s your most embarrassing on-the-job moment? (Or as embarrassing as you’d like to reveal?)

My wife says I’m not self-aware enough to be embarrassed.

…If you could have any other job besides the one you have now, what would it be?

My new aspiration is to play piano and be the backup singer in my son’s rock band. But I doubt he’ll let me.

If you could cover any past political story, which one would it be and why?

There are many fascinating politicians it would have been interesting to cover, but what about fellow reporters to do it with? Imagine being one of the boys on the bus with Walt Whitman, when he was writing for the Brooklyn Eagle. What an America he saw!
