HuffPo Hires Nico Pitney

From the release:

The Huffington Post announced today that
top political blogger Nico Pitney has joined the company as a politics
editor. Pitney will be responsible for continually updating news and
opinion coverage on the site’s new Politics section, working closely
with HuffPost political editor Thomas B. Edsall, who will oversee the
site’s political reporting and strategic initiatives.

Pitney will also spearhead the launch of The Huffington Post’s new
politics blog, featuring a steady stream of video and campaign
reporting throughout the day. He will be based in Washington, DC,
where HuffPost will be opening an office.
