Irony of the Day: WH Press Office Misspells ‘Israel’

Memo to White House Press Office: On any other day, who cares? But seeing as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in town today to meet with POTUS, you guys probably shouldn’t let Netanyahu or his flacks know that you misspelled the word “Israel” in an advisory to the White House Press Corps. This is the type of thing that deserves an award.

“UPDATED: Today, the President and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Isreal will deliver brief statements to the press at the Oval Office Colonnade following their bilateral meeting. This statement is pooled press. Note: Pre-set for the Rose Garden statement will now be at 3:00PM.”
