Layoff Avalanche at U.S. News & World Report
Sources say U.S. News & World Report is laying off at least 30 employees, approximately 20 in the Washington, D.C. bureau.
Among the names: Judy Burke, Cindy Leitner, Bruce Guthrie, Ahasan Islam, Matt Belvedere, Matt Bandyk, Kenneth Terrell, Alan Weinstein, Charlie Archambault, Mary Lu Meixell and Diane Snow Javaid.
Lucy Byrd, a publication spokeswoman, declined to comment to FishbowlDC, saying, “As company policy we do not comment on personnel matters.”
