Miller Joins The Washington Post

PHOTO DESK ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to welcome Robert Miller to our photo staff as assistant picture editor. Robert will lead our visual reporting for foreign, financial and national — in print and online.

Robert comes to us from The News & Observer (Raleigh, NC) where he was director of photography & multimedia with responsibility for guiding the publications’ photo, graphics and online multimedia reports.
His team at the N&O has consistently produced excellent visual reporting. Robert was also a photo assignment editor and photojournalist at the N&O.

Robert Miller is a gifted leader, creative manager and advocate for excellence. He’s a natural collaborator who is fun to work with and receptive to ideas.
