Montgomery Burns Fires CBS’s Bill Plante
But…it was a fake firing by Harry Shearer, who fired CBS News’s Bill Plante on “Washington Unplugged” while using the voice of one his famous Simpson’s characters, Montgomery Burns. To be sure, Plante and Shearer are close friends and have known each other for years.
The interview was about Shearer’s new film on Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans.
