Morning Disturbance: Fake Jim VandeHei is Down

Say it isn’t so!

HuffPost‘s Sam Stein delivered the downright awful news last night that Fake Jim VandeHei, the fake Twitter account that parodies the real Politico Executive Editor Jim VandeHei is down. The account has officially been suspended.

The specific timing of his demise is technologically uncertain, but it had to be within the past 48 hours since we read his feed regularly.

While the real VandeHei must be pleased as punch by this news, we are not. Fake VandeHei was the recent subject of our Friday FishbowlDC interview. He corresponded with us via an email account bearing the name Henry Jackson. If anyone knows anything about his whereabouts or what he did to get his Twitter account suspended, please write us at FishbowlDC@mediabistro.com or to me at FishbowlBetsy@gmail.com.

The real VandeHei had no reaction to the news.
