Mystery Woman Phones into Smerconish Radio Show
Politico’s Ben Smith is reporting today that Ellie Light, the mystery woman who has been penning letters to publications around the country — and getting them published — may be a traveling nurse. Her letters praised and defended President Obama in a way that caught many an editors’ eye.
A woman claiming to be Light phoned into Philadelphia-based Michael Smerconish’s radio program this morning.
Smith said he’s not 100 percent convinced that this Light is the Ellie Light. “I’m still trying to figure that out, too. She seemed convincing to me,” he wrote in an e-mail this morning.
