NBC’s O’Donnell to Host Baby Food Twitter Party

We’re not sure whether to laugh or wail. But really, a baby food party over Twitter? Can the online universe get any worse?

NBC’s Emmy Award winning Norah O’Donnell tweeted, “Yes,Im hosting a twitter party on Thurs night. Join me and Heather from @MomMadeFoods and @babylovefood under the hashtag #babylove!”

She’s promoting the Baby Love cookbook on baby mush that she has written with her husband, Geoff Tracy (a.k.a. Chef Geoff). And as much as a baby food party on Twitter sounds, um, oddly not that fun, here are the facts: The book has hit #1 on Amazon bestsellers. Just yesterday morning O’Donnell and Tracy “whipped up” baby food on NBC’s Today Show. And tonight, O’Donnell will appear on HLN’s Joy Behar show at 9 p.m. to discuss the book.

One question: Is it alright if the hashtag is #babyvomit?
