NJ Bipartisan Breakfast Panel Gets Both Sides to Agree
Mission accomplished.
This morning’s Power Breakfast on bipartisanship hosted by the National Journal Group got both sides of the aisle to agree on something– a timeline for healthcare reform.
All four panelists- Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), Sen. Mel Martinez (R-FL), Democratic Leadership Council founder and CEO Al From and Bipartisan Policy Group’s Steve Bell- said they believed Congress would pass legislation significantly expanding access to healthcare before the 2010 elections.
The panel was moderated by Atlantic Media Company political director Ron Brownstein and is the latest in a series hosted by NJ. Video from this event will be available on their website later today.
