Party Schools For Budding Journalists

The aptly named website College Humor recently released its “power rankings” for the most, uh, shall we say, “enjoyable” college experience. They used a surprisingly complex formula to decide the rankings, which included such inputs as the ratio of women on campus, the percentage of women in relationships, the number of male vocal groups and the availability of free prophylactics.

But what about prospective college students that want both the partying experience and a top notch journalism education (Roll Call took a look at CollegeHumor.com and pols earlier this week)? Well, look no further. We’ve gone through the trouble of comparing both the College Humor list with Editor and Publisher’s list of the nation’s top journalism schools. Those looking for experience with both keg stands and investigative reporting would do well to check out the following institutions:

Auburn University
Iowa State University
Louisiana State University
Michigan State University
Syracuse University
University of Colorado
University of Florida
University of Georgia
University of Illinois
University of Minnesota
University of Missouri-Columbia
University of Southern California
University of Wisconsin-Madison
