Peters Promoted at Nextgov

Katherine McIntire Peters has been promoted to Executive Editor of Nextgov, a role in which she will lead the editorial strategy and operations for the federal technology web site and its related products. She is replacing Allan Holmes who took a gig with BGov several months ago.

A 15 -year Government Executive Media Group veteran, Peters served as senior correspondent covering the Defense Department from 1995 until October of 2010, when was asked to step in as an editor for Nextgov.  Before joining Government Executive Media Group, Peters worked as an associate editor at Army Times and as a writer and technical editor at both IDC Washington and EDS.
