Seaton to Add Dose of Humor to Q & A Cafe

After MSNBC “Hardball” host Chris Matthews blew up the hot seat in December, creating one of the more tense atmospheres in recent Q & A Cafe history – fat jokes, media insults, prickly, non-replies and all – intentional comedy may well be a welcomed relief.

Seaton Smith, a D.C.-based comedian, is officially booked for an upcoming Q & A Cafe on Jan. 28 hosted by New York Social Diary blogger Carol Joynt. “My usuals will not know what to make of him,” Joynt remarked. It’s true. The black comedian imitates white people, which comprise most of Joynt’s crowd. This may be one not to miss.

The luncheon event is held at the Georgetown Ritz. It’s $50, tax and tip included. Call 202-912-4110.
