Silva v. Curl

We’re torn: Although we thought we liked Joe Curl’s White House pool reports the best, Mark Silva gives him a run for his money:

    Featured films on the way home included King Kong in the Secret Service cabin and Anchorman in the press quarters. Chicken on penne was served with salad and sherbet.

    A pretty good Mets-Cardinals game played on Encore. Beltran hit a beautiful home run, really sweet.

    Josh Deckard came back for some warm camaraderie. That’s all.

    Bush descended the stairs at 8:42 with the last light of a partly overcast sky left. Marine One lifted off at 8:47 pm EDT and I’m out.
