Sridhar Pappu To Post

We reported it earlier and today the Washington Post confirmed it:

We’re delighted to announce that Sridhar Pappu will join the Style staff as our lead political reporter. Most recently, he was a correspondent for Atlantic Monthly, where he wrote compelling, evocative profiles of the powerful and influential: politician Mitt Romney, advice columnist Amy Dickerson and preacher T.D. Jakes, the last selected for publication in
    ‘Best American Spiritual Writing.’

While at the New York Observer, where he covered media, he nabbed the first extensive interview with Jayson Blair
and wrote lively dispatches about the New York Times under Howell Raines. A native of Oxford, Ohio, he holds bachelors and masters degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a lifelong
devotion to the Reds and the Bengals. He will arrive mid-March.
