Sunday Show Ratings: Meet the Press Wins, But Competition Gaining
From TVNewser: Meet the Press with David Gregory was the top-rated Sunday morning public affairs program for March 8, in Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. But This Week with George Stephanopoulos was the only program to grow week-to-week.
Compared to the same week last year, the ABC program cut the gap by 55% in Total Viewers and 28% in the demo, and is the only program to show year-to-year growth in both categories.
In the A25-54 demo, NBC was first with a 1.2, followed by ABC with .9, CBS with .8 and FOX with a .5.
NBC had 3,950,000 Total Viewers, ABC 3,370,000, CBS 2,990,000 and FOX 1,320,000.
