What we almost missed today…
MSNBC’s Norah O’Donnell responded to a Page Six item in today’s NY Post. “And poor Norah. What’s she going to do now? She’s been crying all night and day. Just out of the blue, they take her show away. Nice, real nice.” She tells TVNewser, “I usually spend my free time changing poopy diapers – and that report belongs in the diaper champ with those diapers. I look forward to my new hour in the mornings!”
WaPo is launching PostTalk, “an informal Q&A series where creators and senior execs from leading social networking sites visit The Post and field questions from anyone on staff.” Check out the memo from Jose Vargas and Monica Norton after the jump.
Lastly, Happy Birthday to Politico’s new editor Alex Burns.
Technology is not just deeply affecting the news industry, it’s also impacting our daily lives — at home and at work. So the newsroom’s technology working group is launching PostTalk, an informal Q&A series
where creators and senior execs from leading social networking sites visit The Post and field questions from anyone on staff.
Our inaugural guest is Elliot Schrage, VP of communications and public policy at Facebook. With about 200 million members worldwide, the Facebook
community is as populous as Brazil.
Please bring your questions to a meeting in the Auditorium, located off the Post the lobby, on Wed., April 8, at 2:30 p.m.
See you there.
