As you’re looking for things to do this weekend, stop by Jackie Spinner‘s book talk at Politics & Prose tomorrow night.
Spinner’s book, “Tell Them I Didn’t Cry,” focuses on her time covering the war in Iraq, the lessons she took away, and reactions from her sister.
The 6 p.m. talk promises, “Only ten years out of journalism school, and a rising talent at the Washington Post, Spinner did outstanding reporting from Iraq, including coverage of the offensive in Fallujah in 2004. She reflects on her experiences, both terrifying and empowering.”
